ASUS has officially unveiled its fourth generation of gaming smartphones named the ROG Phone 5 series. The lineup comprises ROG Phone 5, ROG, Phone 5 Pro, and ROG Phone 5 Ultimate.

Now, famous YouTuber Jerry from 'JerryRigEverything' carried out a durability test of the ASUS ROG Phone 5 but to the surprise of many, the smartphone failed the test. A premium flagship gaming smartphone, which is made for rugged usage, should have greater durability.

When Jerry attempted to bend the smartphone, without implementing the full force, the phone’s vibrator went haywire and the bottom of the screen began facing issues. A little more force & bend on the front made the display quit working. When the device was bent on the rear, the glass-made back panel cracked, and the phone stopped working.

However, the phone withstood a few other tests, that includes the scratch test and the burn test. But it eventually failed the durability test given that the smartphone was dead after finishing the bend test on the device.
