Samsung launched their flagship Galaxy S21 line of smartphones a couple of months ago. However, by analogy with last year’s spring release of Galaxy S20 and the release of the cheaper Galaxy S20 FE in the fall, this year is also expected to release a lite version of the Samsung Galaxy S21, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE (Fan Edition).

The details were leaked by LetsGoDigital website, supplementing the information with beautiful renders of the smartphone in several colors and a retail box. These aren't official images, but materials created for clarity. the design was done by Italian designer Giuseppe Spinelli, whose nickname is Snoreyn, and joined the LetsGoDigital team over a year ago.

Galaxy S21 FE should be the most affordable member of the lineup. Considering that the vanilla Galaxy S21 model already uses a flat-screen with Full HD resolution and plastic back, the question arises – what's going to be sacrificed in the Galaxy S21 FE?

According to the source, the Galaxy S21 FE will aim at the younger audience. The smartphone will be coming in four interesting colors of light shades – gray, blue, purple, and green. IP68 rating will remain. The SIM card compartment will slump. There'll be no 3.5mm audio jack.

The Galaxy S21 FE won't have the same main camera, which the whole Galaxy S21 line has, for the sake of cutting down the cost. The Galaxy S21 FE will use the same familiar design language as other S21. The camera configuration will likely remain similar to last year’s Galaxy S20 FE.

The smartphone will have a 6.5-inch Full HD + screen – an average between the 6.2-inch S21 and 6.7-inch S21 +. It’ll likely support 120Hz refresh rate but won't support HDR.

The smartphone will be powered by the Exynos 2100 SoC, 6 or 8 GB of RAM, 128 or 256 GB of internal storage, support for a MicroSD slot is unlikely, a 4800mAh battery with support for 25 W charging and 15 W wireless charging.

The charger won't be included in the box. The leaked starting price is 650 euros (~ $780).
