Realme revealed its very affordable Realme X7 5G smartphone lineup in the  4th quarter of 2020. Back in February, the brand launched those handsets in the Indian market. Though they’re almost new smartphones, it looks like that the fastest-growing smartphone manufacturer is already moving on to their next big smartphone launch. A few days ago, a new Realme smartphone appeared in the TENAA database carrying the 'RMX3115' model number. The device, in fact, appears to be the Realme X9 Pro which definitely proves that the Realme X9 lineup is coming very soon, at least in the Chinese market. On other markets apparently, we will get it as the Realme GT Neo.

While the handset found in TENAA has the typical glass-finish from other Realme smartphones and the typical bold “DARE TO LEAP” logo, another variant called “Concrete Edition” was unveiled today by Chinese bloggers & leak star 'WhyLab'. The tipster shared several photos displaying the matte concrete version of the Realme X9 Pro. This will be a limited edition and we don’t think that it will be available everywhere except in China.

The limited-edition features textured gray back comparable to the Realme X2 Pro Concrete edition created by Naoto Fukosawa. The display is curved and it also has a triple-camera module on the back. At the bottom of the phone, there is a SIM slot, USB-C port, and speaker.

According to earlier reports, the Realme X9 Pro will be using the latest Dimensity 1200 chipset. This is the most powerful SoC of the MediaTek Dimensity family. It’s has been produced on a new 6nm process and merges cutting-edge Cortex-A78 cores with power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores. This SoC is only defeated by the Snapdragon 888, and maybe the Snapdragon 870 SoC. The biggest benefit of using MTK's chips is that the Dimensity 1200 is cheaper than the Snapdragon counterpart, so devices with Dimensity 1200 will always be cheaper Snapdragon counterparts.

Other than the chipset, the TENAA listing shows a 6.55-inch panel, probably with FHD+ resolution and high-refresh-rate. We assume that this panel will be of the AMOLED kind since the Realme X7 Pro has an AMOLED disp[lay. The smartphone will draw its energies from a 4,400mAh dual-cell Li-ion battery. This dual-cell construction indicates that the 65W fast-charging technology will be present in the package. The overall dimensions of the device are 159.9 x 73.4 x 7.8mm.

As we’ve stated before, the device will hit some markets as Realme X9 Pro or Realme GT Neo depending on the market. Sadly, only the Chinese market is affirmed to get it right now.
