OnePlus is promoting some notable upgrades in the camera department for its upcoming OnePlus 9 lineup. It already unveiled some aspects about the sensors, new camera features, and its cooperation with the Swedish camera company, Hasselblad.

We bet a number of peoples are anticipating the reviews of the phone(s), most notably of the camera performance which is where OnePlus has concentrated on for its upgrades. For those waiting for a review from DxOMark, sorry to disappoint you, but you will not be getting one.

Pete Lau, the co-founder & CEO of OnePlus, declared on Weibo today that they will not be sending the OnePlus 9 series to the DxOMark. This news comes as a shock as OnePlus is one of the manufacturers that has used DxOMark scores to market its phones.

While he didn’t present any reason, there are speculations that it is because of the review lab's current reviews which are considered to be flawed. An example is the review of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra which a lot of people do not agree with.

With this declaration, it means we will not only not get DxOMark’s review of the OnePlus 9/9 Pro’s cameras but also that of the display and audio quality, which are two other areas DxOMark reviews.

The OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro won't be the only OnePlus flagship phones not evaluated by DxOMark.OnePlus's 3rd-gen flagship, The OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T were also not reviewed by them.
