ONEPLUS 8T CAMERA IS WORSE THAN THE ONEPLUS 8 AND ONEPLUS 7 : ACCORDING TO DXOMARK

Yesterday, the DxOMark laboratory released a review of the main rear camera of the OnePlus 8T smartphone, which was rated at 111 points. This allowed the smartphone to require only 47th place within the ranking, behind not only the OnePlus 8 but also one & half-year-old OnePlus 7.

OnePlus 8T received 115 points in photo quality, 102 points in video quality, and 52 points for zoom capabilities.

The main rear camera is capable of capturing decent images and video as long as you stay out of low light. The lack of a dedicated telephoto shooter means it’s best to stay with little zoom to avoid losing an excessive amount of detail. The ultra-wide-angle lens isn't bad, but the noise and image artifacts mean it's not the best in the market. The video has good stabilization but suffers from sudden focus ghosting.

Earlier, the CEO of OnePlus confirmed that the brand is investing huge resources in improving the cameras of its smartphones. Recently it became known that Hasselblad partnering with OnePlus in the creation of the OnePlus 9 camera. The corresponding announcement is predicted for March 8.
