REALME 8 PRO & REALME 8 GOES OFFICIAL: SPECS, FEATURE & PRICE


Realme has finally launched the Realme 8 series. Two devices are reviled today including Realme 8 and the Realme 8 Pro. Out of this, the ‘Pro’ variant packs a 108MP primary camera while the non-Pro Realme 8 lastly features an AMOLED panel. Here are the complete Realme 8 and the Realme 8 Pro's specifications, features, availability, and pricing.

Price & Availability

The Realme 8 & 8 Pro both comes in only one 128GB storage option. However,  there are multiple RAM options to choose from. You can take a look at their official Indian pricing below:

The initial sale of the Realme 8 & 8 Pro starts March 25 at 12 PM (local time) in India and will be available for purchase on Flipkart, realme.com, and physical stores across the country. In Europe, the Realme 8 Pro is priced at 279 UK pounds (about $380) for the 8GB+128GB variant and the sale starts on March 31.

The Realme 8 Pro has an AG glastic (plastic!) on the back which has a matte texture. The handset is 8.1mm thick and weighs around 172 grams. There are two colors available for this device including  - Infinite Blue and Infinite Black. Additionally, there is a unique Illuminating yellow that has fluorescent substances on the back which glows in dark situations. 

The device features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Samsung display. This display supports a Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution, though only supports a standard 60Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, sunlight mode up to 1000 nits brightness, DC light dimming, Eye protection. Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G 4G SoC paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM & 128GB UFS 2.1 flash storage.





For cameras, the device comes with a quad-camera setup at the rear with a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 primary camera, This sensor has a 1/1.52-inch size. Other than this the setup also has an 8MP wide-angle camera, 2MP monochrome camera, and a 2MP depth camera. On the front side, there is a 16MP front camera for selfies.

Realme 8 comes with a brand new design and is built on a split design and splicing process. There are two colors available for this device including - Cyber Silver, and Cyber black. The device is 7.99mm thick and weighs around 177 grams. Just like its elder sibling, the Realme 8 also feature a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) display from Samsung, though only supports a standard 60Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate, sunlight mode up to 1000 nits brightness, DC light dimming, Eye protection.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 SoC paired with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.1 flash storage. It also utilizes a copper liquid cooling technology for constraining the thermals.




For the quad-camera setup, it includes a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide with 119-degree field of view, and a couple of 2MP sensors (4cm macro and B&W). On the front side, there is a 16MP front camera for selfies & video calls.
