Only a few days ago, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi successfully launch their first gaming phone, The Redmi K40 Gaming Enhanced Edition in China. Many Mi fans outside of China were wondering if this beast of a phone will ever get its global debut. The K40 released in the European market as the Poco F3. The K40 Pro ware launched as a Mi 11i. But because the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition is a gaming-centric smartphone, the possibilities of launching it to the global market seemed less likely. But, there is great news for the Mi fans in India as a leakster claims the Redmi's first gaming phone will come as a rebrand POCO F3 GT in India.

Most of the time, Xiaomi does not launch its gaming phones (Black Shark series) to the global market. Well, we have no idea why Xiaomi does. Particularly, an ultra-affordable gaming oriented phone will be preferred by many. So, if Xiaomi decides to launch the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition to the global market, we have no doubt in our mind that the sales will exceed the firm's expectations. According to a Polish leakster named 'Kasper Skrzypek' (@kacskrz), the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition will be rebranded as POCO F3 GT in India.

The Chinese variant of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition and an unannounced POCO F3 GT have the same model number (M2014K10C). Hence, there is a good possibility that we will get the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition in the global market under the POCO brand name. But there is one thing that puzzles me is that Xiaomi did not launch the POCO F3 in India, They rebranded Redmi K40 aka POCO F3 as Mi 11X. So  I don't get why Xiaomi will bring the smartphone under the POCO F3 lineup now? Nevertheless, the big news is that there is a chance we will be receiving an affordable yet monstrous gaming phone in the global market.
